macOS Big Sur
We are recommending that students, faculty and staff do not upgrade to macOS Big Sur as some of their software may not be compatible or behave as expected. Apple released macOS Big Sur (macOS 10.16) on Thursday 12 November.
If you're considering purchasing a new Apple Laptop, you should be aware that new Apple Laptops using Apple Silicon are first-generation technology and will not run Bootcamp (Windows on Apple hardware), thus will not run Autocad, Revit, Solidworks, Rhino or other Windows 10 specific software at all, as they will not run Windows 10 natively.
