This article contains definitions used in relation to the GradEx platform ePortfolio.
Account Activation Email Invitations
This is the invitation email that is sent out to all exhibitors to activate their accounts on the ePortfolio platform, where they will set up their profile information and also upload their works.
Once a user has accepted the email invitation, the user can set up an account on ePortfolio, which is known as their account profile.
When a user uploads their content to the platform, the user uploads their images, embeds their video/pdf, text, and links as a piece of work. The user has various ways they can organize and display their work.
When a user has several works uploaded, the user can organize their works into a collection.
This is the time frame after the Freeze Date/Time and before the launch date, that GradEx site auditors will review profiles and works for any uploaded submissions that violate OCAD U policies and have been flagged for further follow up.
Exhibitors are the students who are eligible to participate as part of GradEx. This includes students in the following groups:
The registration deadline is the date that student exhibitors will be able to accept the account activation email and to create an account.
The platform has the ability to host multiple exhibitions at once. For GradEx purposes, only the current year's GradEx is referenced. When users are uploaded to the ePortfolio platform, the Program that they are graduating from is not indicated. Users have the ability to change their Program which is also known as their Exhibition Program.

This information is the warning information on the ePortfolio admin pages after the user's login, displaying the deadline for submission.
The freeze date/time is the date and time that access to the ePortfolio platform will be stopped. No access will be granted after this date. Once this date is set, the following will occur:
