This article is for Graduating Students at OCAD University regarding Office 365 upon graduation.
Office 365 for Graduating Students Upon graduation, you'll have access to Office 365 apps for 1 year. During this time, we encourage you to migrate your files that you'd like to keep from your student OneDrive to a personal solution. During this time you'll still have the same access to the Office 365 apps as you did when you were a student.
Moving files from your student OneDrive account You can download your files to your desktop and back it up to an external hard drive, or alternatively if you have cloud storage space, you can move your files there. If you have a personal OneDrive account, you can use it side-by-side with the student OneDrive account. For instructions, please see the following Microsoft article: How do I merge my personal OneDrive with my work or school OneDrive?
After the 1 year, your account will be downgraded to an Alumni licenses which has access to email only. During this time, we recommend that you prepare to move your emails that you'd like to keep from your inbox. You will continue to have access to your email inbox until further notice.
