Techsmith Knowmia (formerly Relay) is OCAD U’s own private video capture and sharing service that integrates with Canvas. Need to demonstrate a studio practice, explain how to use software, document a lecture or get your students to share video? Techsmith Knowmia (formerly Relay) is the answer.
TechSmith offers many products that can share content directly to your Knowmia Library. Anything in your library can be shared on Canvas. Capture and Camtasia are the desktop applications for creating content. Capture (mobile) and Fuse are used for creating content on a mobile device like a smart phone or tablet.
Your Knowmia Library is located at: https://ocadu.techsmithrelay.com.
Capture is the quickest way to capture your recording and upload to Knowmia. Download and launch Capture using the Launch Capture button in your Knowmia Library or in Canvas. It's as easy as clicking record, stop, and submit. Learn how to use Capture at Techsmith.com.
Upload almost any media file to your Knowmia Library. Your Knowmia Library has tools to help you add media you already have and to keep everything organized. Learn how to keep your list of videos neat and tidy.
TechSmith Knowmia is integrated with Canvas. Add Knowmia media wherever you find the Rich Content Editor in Canvas. Click the More button and then click the Apps button. From there, select TechSmith Knowmia and you will see a view of all of your media. You can also add Knowmia media in Canvas Modules.
