Starting in September 2019, faculty, staff and students who use Adobe Creative Cloud on an on-campus computer will need to sign in and sign out using their OCAD U supplied Adobe ID or Enterprise ID, or a free Adobe ID.

What is Shared Device Licensing?

All users will now need to sign in to the Adobe Creative Cloud app separately when using an on-campus computer at OCAD U. You may use an Adobe ID (students) or Enterprise (Federated) ID (staff and faculty). You do not need to be licensed for Adobe Creative Cloud, but you will need to sign-in?

Where will I need to sign in to Creative Cloud?

You will need to sign in to Creative Cloud on any institutional desktop computer that is located in a Computer Studio or open area, or any short-term loan laptop. You must also sign-out when you're finished.

How do I sign in to Creative Cloud?

Browse to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app in the menu, click the cloud icon, and sign in.

If you're a faculty or staff, click "Sign in with an Enterprise ID".

Do I need to sign out of Creative Cloud as well?

YES. You will need to sign out of Creative Cloud when you're finished using the desktop or laptop. The computer may even prompt you while you're using it to determine if you still need to use Creative Cloud.

To sign out, click your avatar and select "Sign Out"

If I'm licensed for Adobe Creative Cloud, does it subtract a license from my count?

No, if you are a student in the Laptop Program, a faculty or staff, logging into a shared computer does not subtract a license from your personal Adobe ID or Enterprise ID.

I don't have an Adobe ID. What do I do? 

You will need to create a free Adobe ID at https://creative.adobe.com and select "Sign In" and "Get an Adobe ID".
