What is Showspace?

Showspace is a publicly accessible viewing space curated by Copy & Print Services with the intent of promoting OCAD University students' work. Selected works will be displayed on three 25.50” x 70” floating panels in the entrance corridor of 51 McCaul between the student workspace and the Print Shop.

Conditions

Work displayed must be 2D visual art (i.e. painting, printable 3D render/photography/drawing). Displayed work must NOT proselytize religious/political beliefs nor can it denote hate, racism, or sexism. Pornography and nudity are unacceptable as the space is open to the public. Selected artists are free to display existing work or create new work. Collectives and groups are encouraged.

Printing and installation will be conducted by The Print Shop. Due to the nature of the space, no original work can be displayed.
