Why do we clear browser Cache?

Clearing browser cache helps websites and applications run better on your computer. When you use a website, your browser stores information on your computer that is accessed when you visit that website. Sometimes, your browser uses old files mistakenly, which can cause display or access problems when visiting a website or filling in a form on that site. Clearing cache is like hitting the reset button.

What are the consequences of Clearing Browser Cache?

Any website you visit will think you are visiting it for the first time - your history on that site is removed when you empty your cache. Any saved forms, settings or preferences on websites you've previously engaged with will be reset.
