Canvas: After logging in, I'm immediately logged out

This problem occurs when a user account hasn't yet been synchronized with Canvas. After successfully logging in, you are immediately redirected to a page stating that you've been logged out.
You have successfully logged out of the Central Authentication Service.
For security reasons, exit your web browser.
New Students at OCAD University
Please note that it takes a maximum of 36 hours once you have registered for your identity to flow through all of our network tubes and computers to all of our systems and services like Canvas.
If you register before midnight on any given day, it should be all resolved by the morning, and you will be able to log in to Canvas.
If you are still having trouble, please contact the IT Help Desk to let us know that this problem is occurring. Include your username and any courses that you are enrolled in.
