How to install fonts from the Adobe Font Folio

What is the Adobe Font Folio?

The Adobe Font Folio contains folders of fonts and educational material/documentation on typefaces. (This folder may be located on the root of the drive for student laptops that have been imaged by IT Services).

 

Who gets the Adobe Font Folio?

Students majoring in Advertising or Graphic Design receive the Adobe Font Folio.

How do you install the Adobe Font Folio?

For macOS:

  1. Launch the app Font Book.
  2. Unzip the Adobe Font Folio package.
  3. Drag the entire folder into the "All Fonts" section in the Left sidebar menu.
  4. Restart the computer once completed for the fonts to be recognized in all capable apps.

For Windows 10:

  1. Unzip the Adobe Font Folio package on your Desktop.
  2. Click on the Windows logo in your toolbar and type "Fonts" in the search box to launch Fonts from the Control Panel.
  3. Open the Adobe Font Folio folder, select individual folders of fonts you wish to install, and drag each folder one-at-a-time into the Fonts window.
  4. Restart the computer once completed for the fonts to get recognized in all capable apps.
