How to Have Copies Made as Faculty at the Service Bureau

  1. Go to the Digital Print Centre: Level 1, 51 McCaul Street

  2. Present your faculty card.

  3. Fill out a copy slip for each set of documents and attach.

  4. Ensure your documents are not stapled.

  5. Submit your documents to the Print Centre staff.

Turnaround times can vary depending on the demand on the day of submission. Feel free to call ahead for an estimate for larger jobs.

Items subject to copyright will not be copied without written permission from the appropriate parties.

 

How to Find a Faculty Copier

Faculty copiers are located in every faculty mailroom, next or adjacent to the faculty office itself. These can be used by both faculty and staff.

How to Find a Public Copier

Find the public copiers at these locations:

Both locations contain accessible copiers.

How to Use the Copiers

  1. If the screen is blank, press the neon-green power-saver button on the keypad.

  2. Locate the proximity card reader immediately to the left of the screen.

  3. Tap your Faculty card on the reader once. An LED will flash green indicating that is has been read.

  4. Select the "Copy" option on the services menu.

  5. The machine is ready to copy.

To log out:

  1. Press the logout icon located on the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Confirm your selection.

Resolving Login Issues

If you attempt log in and the screen displays the words: “Invalid Account” or “Quota Exceeded”:

  1. Go to the Digital Print Centre: Level 2. A staff member can help you between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

How to Fix the Copiers in the Faculty Mailrooms

If there is a paper jam:

  1. Most paper jams can be cleared without assistance. Follow the instructions on the screen of the machine. The machine shows you in pictures which doors to open and which levers to press.

  2. Remove paper slowly with two hands to prevent the paper from ripping.

  3. If you are unable to clear the jam, please contact Copy & Print Services. Please make note of any error messages.

If the copier is displaying an error message other than a paper jam:

  1. Please record the error message and contact Copy & Print Services for support.
